Twitter Usage By SMB's Doubled, Yellow Pages Unchanged

Last updated 6 years ago

Baltimore and Washington DC area businesses are finding that Social Media via Facebook and Twitter can accomplish their marketing goals.  It should come as no surprise that Twitter is on the rise, with more and more business owners using the online medium to communicate with existing clients or attract new ones.

"The “Local Commerce Monitor-Wave 14” from BIA/Kelsey and ConStat found that Twitter usage by SMBs more than doubled between Q3 2009 and Q4 2010, to 19% of respondents. Over the same period, usage of traditional print yellow pages remained unchanged."

To start putting Twitter to work for your business, give me a call to discuss ReachCast.  ReachCast is the Mashable.com award winning technology platform that just won Best Social Media Service for SMB's.
