New Corp, the company that owns MySpace is looking for a buyer. Just days ago, MySpace gave the axe to 47% of their staff amid speculations a buyout was in the near future. Well, the future is now.
They also received not so great news from Google who they make a lot of their ad revenues from. Rumors have it the terms of their renewal contract was more in favor of Google.
I remember a day when MySpace WAS the Facebook of the world. But the part they missed out on was that high school kids will never create a tidalwave of cash from business owners wishing to catch their attention.
