Internet Marketing Is Killing Print

Last updated 6 years ago

The internet has opened a whole new world of communication to us. As a result, many of the traditional services used for communication are slowly dying a not so natural death.  For instance, print media; it does not matter what your business is; if it’s not on the internet, then you are greatly missing out. What did you just say? You are not on the internet, and you are doing pretty well, and you just can’t imagine the heights you can reach by using internet marketing. By not being on the internet and by not using internet marketing to promote your products and services, you are missing a huge business opportunity.  HUGE!

It is not a secret anymore that people used the internet for all their informational needs. However, with the advent of e-commerce and the conversion of physical media such as CD’s and DVD’s to the digital transferable media, the internet has so much more to it. This is a thriving market place, and by using the right internet marketing strategies, you can become a part of this world changing phenomenon.

Establishing an online business is much easier than opening a physical store. Having said that, if you already have a physical business, then that’s not any reason to stay away from the internet. In these times, your business must be found on the web. Only then you can use the internet marketing to your advantage. The benefits provided to your business is unparalleled to that you could receive from any other type of media, whether print, radio or television. One of the benefits of internet marketing is that you can measure your efforts and can determine which of your efforts are actually paying off, and which of them are useless.  Thereby, refining your internet marketing strategies is easier. The type of measurability and the responsiveness, which you get from internet marketing, is previously unheard of in the history of marketing and advertising.

I am not going to ask you if you have a marketing strategy because I am pretty sure you do.  My question is this, what is the best/worst online marketing campaign you have ever run?  Why do you think it ran so well/bad?
