Many of us know our Facebook profiles well with the wall, photos, and more, but the social media giant has just released news about our Facebook profile: say goodbye to your Facebook profile and say hello to Facebook Timeline…
Facebook Timeline is your Facebook profile transformed. Facebook Timeline is an online story book of your life including your status updates, wall posts, photo albums, and additional features, too.
- There is not an exact date for when the Facebook Timeline roll out will be complete, but you can expect the transition to occur within the next few weeks.
- Facebook Timeline will replace everything; you cannot go back to your old Facebook profile once the roll out is complete.
- To prepare for your upcoming Facebook Timeline transition, first select a cover photo. This photo will be the center photo of your new profile, so choose wisely. Your cover photo is not your Facebook profile picture, by the way. Second, you should work on your activity log, which represents all of your activity in Facebook in addition to activity from apps or websites you use as well. Think of your activity log like your content hub where you can approve or disapprove what gets posted on your profile and what doesn’t.
Have you transitioned to the new Facebook Timeline yet? If so, do you like it or not? Share your feedback in a comment!
