Restaurants Tap Into Social Media To Cook Up Excitement

More and more restaurant owners are turning to Social Media to attract a different crowd.  They get that its not always about giving away the kitchen to attract bargain shoppers who will never return for a second meal at market price.  You've seen the ploys to get a customer to Follow them on Twitter, Fan them on Facebook or Check In on FourSquare.  Usually there is some free appetizer or drink attached to will you to take action.

But what about the other crowd.  The foodies who come not for the FREEBIES but come for the EXPERIENCE.  Owners have recognized this and built a following online via YouTube and video.  Branding their location, their chefs and their signature dishes.

Video tells a story that words cannot.  A story of an amazing meal the diner will enjoy when spending time at your restaurant.  Video will help you get into their stomachs which almost always leads to their wallets.
