More and more restaurant owners are turning to Social Media to attract a different crowd. They get that its not always about giving away the kitchen to attract bargain shoppers who will never return for a second meal at market price. You've seen the ploys to get a customer to Follow them on Twitter, Fan them on Facebook or Check In on FourSquare. Usually there is some free appetizer or drink attached to will you to take action.
But what about the other crowd. The foodies who come not for the FREEBIES but come for the EXPERIENCE. Owners have recognized this and built a following online via YouTube and video. Branding their location, their chefs and their signature dishes.
Ever wondered how that steak went from a cow to an amazing experience that you enjoyed? Watch their YouTube Channel. Have you spent the evening arguing over what ingredients made up that tasty morsel you guys just enjoyed? Check out the video. It is all there to see.
