Apparently, Facebook’s President, Mark Zuckerberg, has repeatedly said the IPO is coming, (Carlson) and one source close to Facebook employees say it could happen as of this month. Despite the rumors, many others believe Facebook may go public, but not quite yet. Although the company has to disclose its financial information in April 2012, the firm has yet to decide which banks will underwrite the offering. Before a company can IPO, they must make the bank decisions first, so who knows, it may not occur anytime soon.
