How Long Will Google Reign Supreme?

Last updated 6 years ago

You probably know that Google takes the cake for the top search engine in America, but how do the other search engines stack up?  You might be surprised that the close second search engine, Yahoo/Bing, is staying right on the heels of Google.  Things could take an opposite turn for Google in 2012 though.  Check it out:

After looking at this infographic, it is wise to consider Yahoo/Bing as another search engine to conduct your search engine marketing.  Why?  As you can see, not everyone in the U.S. uses Google for their search needs.  Yes, 65% is a high number, but in retrospect, you can’t put all your eggs into one basket either.  If you decide to partner with an online marketing firm, make sure they don’t put your ads just on Google or one publisher.  Like mutual funds, you need to diversify and keep your opportunities open from various publishers.

Which search engine do you use most frequently and why?  Share your feedback in a comment!
