In hopes of acquiring more small business customers, Facebook has teamed up with the National Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to launch a brand new program called Facebook Marketing Solutions. Early next year, an initiative called Facebook Small Business Boost will launch within the program as well. What’s in it for you? Free Facebook advertising. The company is going to give up to $10 million in free advertising to qualified small business owners and each business will be given at least $50 of free Facebook advertising. How does a small business qualify? Facebook hasn’t released all the details yet, so stay tuned.
Besides free Facebook advertising, the program will offer free resources on how small business owners can use Facebook to grow their customer base. Lastly, Facebook reps will be traveling across the country to educate small businesses on the benefits of Facebook advertising.
Essentially, the Facebook Marketing Solutions program’s mission will be to educate local businesses about Facebook advertising. And who doesn’t like free, right?
Are you excited about the upcoming Facebook Marketing Solutions program coming next year? Why or why not? Share your thoughts in a comment!
