I Found You On Google

Last updated 7 years ago

How many times, as a business owner, have your clients said that to you?  Well, you should be hearing that more and more frequently.  With Google owning 66.05% of all US searches in July, one would be insane not to be found via pay per click, via Google Places or organically through a proven search engine optimization campaign.

Google accounted for 66.05 percent of all U.S. searches conducted in the four weeks ending July 30, 2011. The combined Bing-powered search comprised 28.05 percent of searches for the month, with Yahoo! Search and Bing receiving 14.49 percent and 13.19 percent, respectively.  The remainder of search engine industry, which Experian states is at 73 engines, only account for less than six percent of all Internet searches.” Experian Hitwise

I have been blogging about pay per click and Google Adwords for quite some time.  I have seen clients generate an amazing amount of lead activity for their business, resulting in some cases, into hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenues.  If setup correctly, properly monitored and optimized often, there is not a better form of online media than locally focused paid search (AKA pay per click advertising) campaignNONE WHATSOEVER!

Are you using Adwords or pay per click to generate visitors and leads?  Have you used it in the past?  Are you thinking about implementing it into your business model this year or next?  Why?  Why not?
